There is No U7's or U8's Dome League this weekend, due Reading F.C holding a coaching course. Next weekend Sunday 16th November will be outside at Reading F.C.

Please note that I will be available to take Registrations at the Dome this week on Monday from 7.30 - 9.00 and on Tuesday from 6.30 - 7.30.
 
Also please note that Stephen Smith will not be available or contactable by phone on Thursday 9th, Friday 10th and Saturday 11th.

U7's and U8's News

For the next two weeks 5th October and 12th October the U7 and U8 games will be played outside the dome on grass could all managers inform their players and spectators. As for these two weeks we will in the lap of the gods if the weather is not on our side a decision will be made on the morning of the games. If managers are not contacted then the games will be played.

Registrations at the Dome

Just to let you know that this week my work schedule at the Dome has changed slightly. So as we dont get any disgruntled team managers there on Tuesday can you please let all your manager know that;
 
On Monday I will be at the Dome from 19.45 to 21.30 and on Tuesday I will be at the Dome from 21.30 to 23.30 (if anyone want to come then).
 
Failing that we have a Committee meeting at the Madejski Stadium on Thursday and Nigel will take registrations then as well.

ATTENTION ALL TEAM MANAGERS
 
If you are currently looking for somewhere to hold your
Winter training sessions, we have a grassed 60 x 40 pitch available at the Indoor Training Facility site at Reading Football Club. As from 6th October this will be floodlight and available to book (block bookings accepted) from 17.00 each week day evening. The cost to SCML Clubs will be £50 per hour and will include the use of the other facilities at the Dome.

Girls and Boys League fixtures have now been released on the SCML/Full Time Web Site for Season 08-09, apart from U13's Girls Divisions.

U17's Constitution Update.

The U17's will run as like U12's Division all teams will play each other once and then form two Divisions.

Player Signing on forms.

On Thursday at the Meeting the SCML forgot that Tuesday night Reading F.C are at home in the Carling Cup 8.00pm kick off. Therefore it will be difficult for anyone coming to the Dome for Registrations to get in between 6.00 - 8.00pm. But Mike Rooke will be there from 5.00pm - 6.00pm and 8.30pm - 9.15pm to accept any paperwork, you should be able to get in between those times. Please remeber to bring Self Addressed Envelope.

17th August 2008 News:

U12's Constitution Update.

Due  to a team recently deciding to leave the SCML and play in another League next season we have been left with 15 teams which are currently split into 2 uneven Divisions of 5 (Div1) and 10 (Div2).

For the U12 age group as a whole this is clearly not workable and the Committee are all too aware of the need to provide not only as competitive a league as possible but also a full League & Cup season.

It has therefore been decided that for the 2008/09 season we will start with 1 Division. However once everyone has played each other once (14 games) we will then split the Division into 2 with the top 7 teams forming Div1 and the other 8 forming Div2 for the second half of the season. In the event of 2 or more teams being equal on points the formula in rule 12a will be used to determine 7th place. Each team’s record for the first half of the season will be carried forward and each team will play the other teams in their respective division once more to determine Divisional placements. Div1 will then also play for the Chronicle Cup and Div2 the Optiplan Trophy
